Job Description
The Locum Bureau is looking for General Practitioners to work with a supportive GP Practice team in High Wycombe.
Expect sensible workloads, strong admin support, and a practice that values safe pacing, continuity, and clinician wellbeing.
Flexible sessions with the option to build a steady weekly pattern.
Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days a week available, with flexibility on which days you work.
• AM or PM sessions available, with ongoing bookings where desired.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality face-to-face and telephone consultations as required.
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic disease issues.
• Prescribe appropriately and follow local and national guidance.
• Review and action test results and clinical correspondence in a timely manner.
• Make appropriate referrals and follow agreed pathways.
• Maintain clear documentation and coding on the clinical system.
Requirements
• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• On the GP Register with suitable UK primary care experience.
• Confidence managing routine and urgent presentations safely.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, patient-focused approach.
• Right to work in the UK and appropriate compliance documentation.
• Indemnity arrangements suitable for the role.
