Job Description

The Locum Bureau is looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to work for a modern and friendly GP Practice in Bracknell.

You will be supported by an experienced clinical team with sensible appointment lengths, clear workflows, and well-run admin so you can focus on safe, high-quality patient care.

Regular sessions available with flexibility around your preferred days and start times.

Working Pattern
• Up to 3 days a week available, with flexibility to fit around other commitments.
• Daytime primary care sessions with options for ongoing weekly bookings.

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prescribe safely and in line with practice and local guidelines where applicable.
• Manage acute presentations and minor illness clinics within primary care.
• Request and interpret investigations and act on results appropriately.
• Provide health promotion and patient education tailored to individual needs.
• Document consultations clearly and code accurately on the clinical system.

Requirements
• Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant UK primary care experience.
• NMC registration in good standing.
• Independent Prescriber qualification preferred where applicable to the role.
• Confident managing same-day presentations and long-term conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach.
• Right to work in the UK and compliance documents available.
